There have been some minor hurdles in the lead up to this occasion so we thank you all for your patience and continued support. Check this space in the next few weeks to find out when it all goes live!Cheers,Bitter Art. 14th December 2010Hi all,We forgot to mention in our last update that we were also nominees in Beijing for the 'People's Choice' Award and 'Best Long Narrative'. (See above).As of this month we have finally started to work on a traditional trailer. We are playing with a few ideas but hope to have something for you in early 2011. We don't have many friends at this stage but like the interest in our movie, hopefully the numbers will slowly but surely build.We will be uploading another scene from the movie next week.Cheers,Bitter ArtUpdate: Wednesday the 16th June 2010Hi everyone,The international premiere for Bitter Art will be this Sunday, the 20th of June, in Beijing.The screening will be from 3:30pm at the following venue:Mako Live HouseHongdian Art Factory, 36 Guangqu Lu South of the Shuangjing Carrefour 36, 5205-1112Update: Friday the 9th of AprilHi all,We have just received our official acceptance letter into another international film festival, the 2010 Beijing International Movie Festival.Great news.Update: Tuesday the 23rd of March 2010Hi all,Our screening at the Australian Film Festival the other week was a great success.The movie was supported by one cast and one crew member who made the trip from Perth, which was a huge sign of dedication to the cause from them, as well as of course some of our NSW based cast. The screening was a sellout and the audience engaged well with the Q and A after the show. Bitter Art also received a mention at the closing night from the festival CEO, Barry Watterson.The AFF staff ran an excellent festival. On top of the support we received from Barry who went out of his way to make us feel welcome, we would also like to thank Peter Castaldi.Now for some other news...Bitter Art has been accepted into the 2010 Vineyard Festival in Cyprus - 4th - 6th June 2010 and has also been accepted in to the 2010 Honolulu International Film Festival in Hawaii.So for anyone who will be in Europe for the summer we will see you there ... if not, maybe Honolulu next month.Aloha.Update: 23rd February 2010Hi all,Bitter Art has been selected to be screened at the 2010 Australian Film Festival on Friday the 5th of March, 2010.Please visit their site at : http://www.australianfilmfestival.com.au for more details.Hope to see you there.Update: 21st November 2009Hi all,We have entered several overseas film festivals that are happening in the first part of next year. Bitter Art is an independent Australian feature length comedy.

The story follows the journey of one mans volatile relationship with his friends as he embarks on a frantic attempt to complete a short film for an upcoming festival, whilst simultaneously endeavouring to hinder the efforts of the towns self-confessed hero.

Bitter Art was filmed on location in Pemberton and Perth, Western Australia
